Comfort for 7

The spacious interior has been put to good use, with the addition of a third row of seats in all models except LS. These seats fold down into the floor, without encroaching on the boot space at all.

Load up

For the easiest possible access to the cargo area, the tailgate is split. The top gate lets you treat Outlander like a hatch. The bottom gate folds down, letting you, and the other guys helping you carry the pool table, fit it in. This bottom gate even holds 200 kilos. Perfect for three people to sit on to watch the sunset. Or for things that weigh 200 kilos.

Better yet, the second row of seats folds down in a 60/40 split, letting you juggle luggage and passenger space for a perfect fit every time.

Whatever you put in the boot is safe and sound, thanks to a rear cargo blind and privacy glass in the back.

There are rare instances where Outlander’s already capacious 882 litres of cargo area isn’t enough. So with one flick of a lever, you can activate the One-touch Electronic Folding Second-row Seats. The seats will fold neatly forwards, more than doubling capacity to a fridge-swallowing 1691 litres.
